Station 2-1

Station 2-1 houses the following apparatus:

Engine 2-1; Engine 2-3; Engine 2-9; Truck 2-1; Rescue 2-1; Water Tender 2-1; Medic 60; Medic 61; Utility 2-1; Boat 2-1; Chief 2-1; Battalion 2-1; Prevention 2-1; Pick-up 2-1; Van 2-1

Station 1 was renovated in 2003, resulting in approximately 24,000 square feet of usable space. The crew has new living quarters upstairs above the apparatus bay, which has room for eight. The old living quarters have been turned into offices for the Battalion Chiefs, Captains, and Firefighters. The station has a training room, volunteer lounge, and an exercise room. Station tours are available upon request.

Station 2-2

Station 2-2 houses the following apparatus:

Engine 2-2; Engine 2-5

Station 2-2 was built in 1991 at a cost of approximately $700,000. It replaced a station that dated back to the 1950s.

The District installed living facilities at this station in mid-2009 with the intent to provide coverage from 6pm Friday through 6pm Monday; and 6pm Tuesday through 6am Wednesday.
